The GBHS Blend is a complex blend of Bolivian coffees that are light and refreshing on the palate with a smooth and nutty after taste. All of Higher Ground’s coffees are Fair Trade, organic, and shade grown. Fair Trade certification enables the farmers who grow our coffees to keep their family owned farms and benefit from economic and educational programs, while growing a great organic crop. Our coffees are also grown in the shade of the forest canopy—preserving ancient forests and natural habitat for innumerable species of plants and animals.
FAIRER MEANS
Proceeds go to support the Greater Birmingham Humane Society with their dedication to promote respect for life through education and prevention of cruelty to animals and people. They currently receive no city, state, federal, or United Way funding and depended largely on the generosity of the public and foundations to help them meet the community's needs.
